Ted and Elizabeth Jacobson Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2014 by brothers Steve and Fred Jacobson, to honor their parents, Ted and Elizabeth Jacobson. Ted Jacobson received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from UW Lacrosse and went on to serve in the army and teach physical education in South Carolina. When he moved to Racine he established an educational career and leadership role as a teacher and principal. Ted held various leadership roles in education, and together with his wife, Elizabeth, was a very active member of the Kiwanis Club of West Racine. Ted and Elizabeth believed that every child’s education was important. Recipients are determined by the Kiwanis Club of West Racine.
