This scholarship was established in 2024 by Jean Mierow to honor her niece, Amanda. The Amanda Yazzie Ryan scholarship is awarded to a student who resides in Racine County, is a Psychology major at UW Parkside and intends to become a counselor.

 Criteria:

  • Have a declared major in Psychology and intend to become a counselor

  • Have completed two full years of higher education and be a junior during the academic year in which the scholarship will be awarded

  • Be a resident of Racine County
